This page explains how to permanently delete your ReadyCheck: Gaming Calendar account and the data associated with it. There are two ways to do it: inside the app, which is immediate, or by email.
1. Open ReadyCheck and go to the Profile tab, then tap the gear to open Settings.
2. Tap Legal, then Delete your account.
3. Read what will be removed, then tap Delete my account, and tap again to confirm.
Deletion happens immediately. There is no waiting period and it cannot be undone.
Email support@readycheck.team with the subject "Delete my account", from the address linked to your account (or include your @handle if you signed in with Apple, Discord or Google). We complete these within 30 days.
Leaving does not destroy other people's things. If you created a squad that other members are still using, the squad passes to whoever joined earliest, along with any sessions you organised for it, so the squad, its invite code and everyone's session history survive. A squad where you were the only member is deleted along with your account.
Sessions and squads that now belong to other people remain, without your participation records - your RSVPs and membership are gone from them.
Usage and error records are kept for up to 24 months to help us fix bugs and improve the app. They contain no handles, emails, squad names or invite codes. The ones made while you were signed in also carry your account's identifier. Deleting your account removes that link, and they stay as anonymous records tied only to a random identifier generated on your device.
If you would rather they were deleted, email us before you delete your account and we will remove them first. Once the account is gone we have nothing left to find them by.
If someone reported your account, that report is kept for 90 days after you delete it, so a report about abuse cannot be erased by leaving, and is then deleted. It holds the handle you had and what the reporter wrote, and nothing else of yours. Reports you filed about other people are deleted with your account.
